PERISHABLE ITEMS SHIPPING POLICY

High Heat Advisory – Chocolate, Refrigerated & Frozen Products

Perishable items such as chocolate, refrigerated, and frozen products are highly temperature-sensitive. While we allow all shipping methods at checkout, we strongly recommend Overnight shipping to reduce the risk of melting or spoilage.

  • No refunds will be issued for melted, spoiled, or heat-damaged products if a non-overnight shipping method is selected.

  • If you prefer not to include insulated materials, please contact us in advance for a custom quote.

To optimize your shipping costs, we recommend placing non-perishable items in a separate order. Non-perishable goods do not require insulation and may ship using standard methods.

Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that perishable items will arrive in perfect condition if shipped via slower methods or during hot weather. We pack all orders carefully, but once a package leaves our facility, we are not responsible for transit conditions.

For large orders, palletized refrigerated transport is available. Please contact us for a custom shipping solution.

CURBSIDE & PICKUP POLICY

Due to the nature of the products we carry—including perishable items such as refrigerated, frozen, or chocolate products—we cannot hold pickup orders for more than 24 hours. To ensure your order is prepared and kept in proper condition, please follow the steps below:

  1. Place your order online or by phone.

  2. Contact us to let us know your preferred pickup time.*

  3. Please arrive within 2 hours of your scheduled pickup time.

  4. Go to the loading dock and inform a team member** that you are picking up a Baker’s Authority order and provide your order number.

  5. If you need help loading your order into your car, let us know—we’re happy to assist.

  6. Enjoy your purchase!

* Pickup hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM.
** If you're waiting at the door, please notify an employee, as they may not see you right away.
