Ingredients

½ cup margarine, softened

2 egg yolks

4 Tbsps. sugar

2 cups flour

1½ tsps. baking powder

2 Tbsps. brandy

6 apples peeled and diced.

2 Tbsps. sugar

1 Tbsp. cornstarch

½ cup nondairy creamer
-
2 Tbsps. lemon juice
-
1⅓ cups flour
-
½ cup margarine
-
½ cup sugar, confectioner’s sugar

Directions
Preheat oven. to 350 degrees
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
CRUST
In a mixer bowl, combine all ingredients for crust and mix well. Pat onto the bottom of the greased and floured cake pan.
FILLING
Spread layer of apples over crust. In a small bowl, mix egg, sugar, and cornstarch until there are no lumps. Then slowly, while mixing add nondairy creamer and lemon juice. Pour over apples.
CRUMB TOPPING
Mix flour, margarine, and sugar to a crumbly consistency. Sprinkle over filling. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. When cool, top with confectioners’ sugar.

Bake for 45 to 1 hour.
