Ingredients

2 cups grated raw carrots

⅓ cup boiling water

½ cup oil

3 eggs

1¼ cups sugar

2 cups flour

1¼ tsps. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cloves
-
1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 cup chopped walnuts
Orange Cream Frosting (SEE OUR RECIPE LIST)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl beat all cake ingredients except nuts at low speed for 1 minute, scraping sides of bowl constantly. Then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Add nuts and mix well.
Pour into greased cake pan. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Frost with Orange Cream Frosting.
